This specially designed program serves children who both meet and miss the cut-off for kindergarten however both groups of children transfer to kindergarten in the appropriate year. Within this classroom, children develop the fundamental skills needed for success in kindergarten. Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is designed to bridge the gap from preschool to kindergarten, building the foundation for a lifelong success and love of learning.
The Creative Curriculum = Play + Project Based
Children will engage in in-depth studies of real-world topics. Projects have a complex but flexible framework within which teaching and learning are interactive processes. When successfully implemented, students feel highly motivated and actively involved in their own learning, leading them to produce high-quality work and to grow as individuals and collaborators.
